Yo Cambio (I Change) Penitentiary, San Salvador, El Salvador

Visiting a vast prison outside San Salvador shocked us. This prison looked nothing like the images American media shows us. Eighty-five percent of the prisoners here belong to a program called Yo Cambio.  The prison is self-sufficient, with prisoners providing all of the necessary goods and services.
