Art, Culture, and the Revolution

03

Located next to the Nacional Museum of Art, El Chulon is a monument of the revolution and is symbolized by a naked man looking up and with raised arms. The mural, a mosaic in volcanic rock, represents freedom. It is a symbol of change in the constitution and an example of contemporary art in El Salvador.
